Rabbi David Mevorach Seidenberg 


Rabbi David Mevorach Seidenberg is the creator of neohasid.org and the author of "Kabbalah and Ecology: God's Image in the More-Than-Human World" (Cambridge, 2015). He has ordination from both Jewish Theological Seminary and Reb Zalman Schachter-Shalomi, and teaches around the world on themes of ecology and environmental ethics, human rights, tikkun olam, animal rights, dance, and music in Jewish texts and thought. Besides Kabbalah, David also does research and teaching on Chasidut. Maimonides, Buber, and midrash. David's liturgical work (such as the prayer for voting and egalitarian ushpizin) and his translation of Eikhah/Laments are used widely in the movement. David lives with his family in Northampton, Massachusetts.
