Leeza Negelev is a Jewish Educator who has taught across denominations, languages, and cultures. She reaches for the joy of learning while making room for many voices. Leeza has been an educator for over twelve years. In those twelve years, she founded and ran an expressive arts summer camp for middle school students, and taught in synagogues and Jewish day schools in both Portland, Oregon and San Francisco, California. She is the Associate Director of Education at Mayyim Hayyim, a Community Mikveh and Education Center which serves as an international model of religious pluralism and innovation-driven work in the Jewish world. Leeza is a Combined Jewish Philanthropies 2016 Chai in the Hub honoree.
