Dr. Jeff Kress
Dr. Jeff Kress, is the Bernard Heller Professor of Jewish Education at the Jewish Theological Seminary’s William Davidson Graduate School of Jewish Education. His interests include social, emotional, and spiritual development and education and he has written about experiential Jewish education and inclusion of learners with disabilities in camp settings. His book Development, Learning, and Community: Educating for Identity in Pluralistic Jewish High Schools (Academic Studies Press, 2012) won a National Jewish Book Award. He is also a co-editor of the recently-published volume Advancing the Learning Agenda in Jewish Education (Academic Studies Press, 2018).
